We just shipped v5 of Mirror Ai. This is the largest single release we have done, and it touches two parts of the platform that matter most to our users: how deeply we research and how well we write.

Research that shows its work
Every answer from Mirror Ai now comes with academic-grade citations. This has been a goal of Mirror Ai from its inception, the difference has been the rigor and reliability with which we can achieve this in relation to all of the diverse datasets that our AI uses to generate quality outputs. Every claim is linked to its source by a citation management system that we have integrated to enable data sources to be tracked through the entire content generation chain, from the initial search through to the final synthesis. The AI now understands when a piece of evidence should be included and when it should be rejected as un-citable. Bottom line...
"if Mirror Ai says something, you can see exactly where it came from."
We also rebuilt the search layer to better access the growing sea of relevant data that we collect and manage within our data platform.
Advancing user experience has also been front of mind. The AI chat interface now keeps you in the loop about how its answering your questions, and streams results in real time so you are not waiting for a wall of text.
Advancing document synthesis
The document writer got the same treatment. Better outlines, better evidence handling, properly formatted bibliographies. The quality is now consistent across every document type. We also have also integrated image integration in document outputs!
What this means in practice
If you ask Mirror Ai about a compliance regulation, it searches with the compliance specialist, pulls from relevant sources, and produces a response with traceable citations. If you ask for a market report, the research agent drafts it with proper evidence ordering and temporal context, it knows what happened this week vs last month vs last quarter. And if you ask for a whitepaper analysis, the document writer produces a structured analysis with bibliography and proper formatting.
None of this required users to change anything. It is the same chat interface, the same document workspace. It just does the work better.
What is next
This release sets the foundation for where we are heading. Specialist agents, verifiable citations, and real-time streaming were the prerequisites for what comes next, including:
